Accessibility Statement

Advanced Applications Specialists, Inc. (“AAS”) is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.

Built-in accessibility tools

Every page includes an accessibility menu, opened from the accessibility button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. It lets you adjust the site to suit your needs without installing any software. Your choices are saved in your browser on this device. Available adjustments include:

  • One-click profiles for seizure-safe browsing, vision impairment, ADHD, cognitive disability, keyboard navigation, screen-reader users, and older adults.
  • Content controls: larger text, increased line height and letter spacing, a more readable font, link and heading highlighting, a text magnifier, and text alignment.
  • Color controls: dark, light, and high-contrast modes; saturation and monochrome options; and custom text, title, and background colors.
  • Orientation controls: mute sounds, hide images, reading mode, a reading guide and reading mask, stop animations, focus and hover highlighting, and an enlarged cursor.

Standards and ongoing work

We design and build this site with accessibility in mind, including semantic structure, keyboard operability, text alternatives for meaningful images, visible focus indicators, and sufficient color contrast. As we add and update content, we continue to test and refine these areas.
