Privacy Policy
Advanced Applications Specialists, Inc. (“AAS,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information you provide
When you submit a project request through our contact form, the details you enter — such as your name, email, phone number, company, role, and a description of your project — are sent to our team by email so we can respond. The email is delivered by Resend, our email service provider. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare estimates, schedule work, and communicate with you about your project.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with our own team members and the service providers described below, who use it solely to operate this site and respond to you.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this site, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically collects standard server log data such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, and general traffic analysis.
Performance measurement
We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure page-load performance. This tool collects anonymized, aggregated data about how quickly pages render for visitors. It does not use cookies and does not identify you individually.
Cookies
This site uses essential, first-party cookies required for normal operation, including a cookie that remembers your cookie-consent choice (aas-consent) and a cookie that stores your approximate country, derived from your network connection (aas-geo), so we can apply the consent and regional rules described below. These essential cookies do not require consent.
Consent and optional analytics
We show a cookie-consent banner the first time you visit. With your consent, we may use analytics and visitor-recognition technologies to better understand interest from industrial facilities and to improve our marketing. These optional technologies run only when both of the following are true: you are visiting from the United States, and you have granted consent. If you decline — or you are outside the United States — these technologies stay off. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.
How we share information
We rely on the following third-party service providers, each with its own privacy policy:
- Vercel — website hosting and performance analytics
- Resend — delivery of project-request emails to our team
- Google Fonts — typeface delivery
- Analytics / visitor-recognition provider — used only with your consent, as described above
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services if you have questions about how they handle data.
Data retention
We retain your project-inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain our business relationship, and comply with legal obligations. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider according to their standard retention schedule.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided to us, and you may withdraw your consent to optional analytics at any time, by contacting us at the number below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for business and industrial professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
