Low-friction pipe support liners
Pipes sliding across steel supports grind through coatings and trap moisture, driving corrosion and metal loss at every contact point.
What is failing
A pipe that slides across a bare steel support grinds its coating off at the contact face every time the line expands and contracts. The exposed metal traps water at the shoe, and corrosion eats both the pipe and the support where no one can see it. Wall loss under a support is a common cause of unplanned line repairs on Louisiana units.
How AAS does it
AAS installs a low-friction liner at the support so the pipe glides instead of grinding. The liner isolates the pipe coating from the steel and lets the support shed water rather than hold it. Our crew preps the contact face, applies the system cold with no hot work near the line, and seats the liner so it survives the thermal cycling that wrecks bare supports.
The line moves freely without sanding its own coating off, the support sheds water instead of trapping it, and contact-point corrosion stops driving wall loss at the shoe.

How AAS delivers it
AAS performs Low-friction pipe support liners work for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical & Chemical, and Power Generation operations across Baton Rouge and Louisiana, cold-applied and in place wherever possible, on your turnaround schedule. Crews are factory-trained Belzona applicators, the repair system is matched to the service conditions it will see, and urgent failures are covered by 24-hour on-call response.
