Flange encapsulation and sealing
Flange faces corrode and weep at the gasket joint, and exposed bolting seizes. This opens leak paths and makes future disassembly hard.
What is failing
Flange faces corrode and start to weep at the gasket joint, while the exposed bolting seizes in place from the same atmospheric and process attack. A weeping flange wastes product, corrodes the steel around it, and signals a joint that may not reseal if it is broken. Once the studs seize, the next disassembly turns into a cut-and-replace job instead of a routine gasket change.
How AAS does it
AAS prepares the flange and surrounding steel, then encapsulates the assembly in a cold-cure compound that seals the leaking joint and shields the bolting. The work is done in place with no hot work and no need to break the connection. We dress the compound so the encapsulation protects the studs while keeping the joint serviceable.
The leak stops and the corrosion at the gasket face is held back. The assembly stays free for future disassembly, so the next outage is a gasket change and not a flange replacement.

How AAS delivers it
AAS performs Flange encapsulation and sealing work for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical & Chemical, and Water & Wastewater operations across Baton Rouge and Louisiana, cold-applied and in place wherever possible, on your turnaround schedule. Crews are factory-trained Belzona applicators, the repair system is matched to the service conditions it will see, and urgent failures are covered by 24-hour on-call response. The result is a permanent, engineered repair that returns the asset to service without the cost or downtime of full replacement.
