Live leak sealing
Active leaks at pipes, headers, and vessels waste product and corrode nearby steel before a shutdown can be scheduled.
What is failing
Active leaks at pipes, headers, and vessels waste product and corrode the surrounding steel every hour they run. For Louisiana refiners and petrochemical producers, an unplanned shutdown to chase one leak can cost more than the leak itself. The pressure that drives the leak is the same pressure that makes a hot-work repair unsafe to attempt.
How AAS does it
AAS seals the live leak cold while the line stays pressurized, then overwraps the area to convert the temporary stop into a permanent composite repair. Supporting Belzona systems such as Belzona 1212 and SuperWrap II let the crew bond to the wet, weeping surface and build a structural overwrap on top. There is no hot work, no product evacuation, and no break in production. Our 24-hour on-call crew responds when the leak will not wait for a turnaround.
Typically applied with Belzona 1212, Belzona SuperWrap II, matched to the service conditions.
Production keeps running while the leak is sealed and reinforced in a single visit. The operator avoids an emergency shutdown and the product losses that come with it.

How AAS delivers it
AAS performs Live leak sealing work for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical & Chemical, and Water & Wastewater operations across Baton Rouge and Louisiana, cold-applied and in place wherever possible, on your turnaround schedule. Crews are factory-trained Belzona applicators, the repair system is matched to the service conditions it will see, and urgent failures are covered by 24-hour on-call response. The result is a permanent, engineered repair that returns the asset to service without the cost or downtime of full replacement.
