Sourcing a custom part means lead time the outage cannot absorb. A poor-fitting gasket on an uneven face leaks, weeps, and pulls the equipment back apart on the next cycle.
How AAS does it
AAS casts gaskets, seals, and shims in place with a fluid elastomer that cures to the actual mating surface. The crew preps and releases the faces, then applies a Belzona 2000-series elastomer that takes the exact shape of the gap, so no mold, machined part, or specialty tooling is required. For higher-load shim work the supporting Belzona 2211 elastomer builds a load-bearing fit. Everything cures cold.
Typically applied with Belzona 2131, Belzona 2211, matched to the service conditions.
The facility gets a gasket, seal, or shim formed to the real geometry of the joint, with no catalog lead time. Worn and out-of-flat faces seal on the first reassembly.
