Gutter, flashing and roof-detail sealing
Gutter linings, parapet copings, and metal flashing details fail at dissimilar-material joints where movement and corrosion open a water path inside.
What is failing
Gutter linings, parapet copings, and metal flashing fail where dissimilar materials meet. Movement and corrosion open a gap at the metal-to-masonry joint, and water tracks straight inside the building. Replacing the sheet metal or reroofing the section is slow and expensive, and the joint often fails again in the same spot.
How AAS does it
AAS cleans and prepares the joint, then seals the metal-to-masonry transition with a flexible cold-applied membrane reinforced over the detail. The membrane follows substrate movement instead of fighting it. We do the work in place with no sheet-metal replacement, no reroofing, and no hot work, using Belzona 3111 and 3121 to seal the flashing and glazing-bar details.
Typically applied with Belzona 3111, Belzona 3121, matched to the service conditions.
The flashing, gutter, and coping details shed water again without tearing out metal. The building stays dry through the joints that leaked first.
